Happy 4th!
Wow, I just got back from an amazing night. First off was the firework show, which was awesome. My dad and I went and camped out on top of the theater parking garage, waiting for a spot. We got there an hour early, so my dad played some guitar. It was quite awesome, he is such an amazing player. My brother showed up right before the fireworks started, and we watched the show from the back of the dad's Tundra. I recorded the firework show, along with our commentary. You can find the mp3 here. Hey, if you kids didn't know, I have an audio blog at skyjournal.blogspot.com. Go check it out, I try to post cool things that people might want to listen to. I do all my typing blogging here so, don't worry, I'm not leaving anyone. Okay, so after all that cool stuff, my brother and I walked down the street and saw War of the Worlds. Damn was it a good movie. I thought Tom Cruz was actually good. Like, he is a good actor. I've been hearing flak about him for a few weeks now; he may be crazy, but he can sure act well. Well, thats what I think anyway. If you don't agree, leave us a comment here and tell me what you thought. Going back to the movie, it was well done I thought, a good summer movie. It really kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I can admit it was a bit scary at time. Aliens have always been the things that scare me the most. Now that I'm 19, it kept my heart pumping the whole time. Hmm, I wonder if I burn more callories watching that movie then walking. Haha, I must be dreaming. Okay, good night everyone. It's Skyler's bedtime so he can take a mid-term tomorrow... (scary). Night everyone, Happy 4th!

This is awesome
I'm over at my second uncle's house and he has a mac. Even better, he has a wireless network and I'm outside, with everyone. We're sitting here next to the fire as my dad plays 'Highway to Hell'. Most of the adults are having fun, singing along with the songs. Man, do I want a set-up like this. He's got a iBook G4 and its quite cool. He doesn't really know anything about macs, he just uses it to go to a fishing website everyday. Thats all! So, he's really got nothing on this thing, none of the iLife aps have been opened up. I think I was the first to open iTunes. I'm afraid to de-virginize his other apps. :-D hahaha. Anyway, I don't have too much else to report. I got some recording of this BBQ party that I'll add to my journal. Okay, thats it for now, I got some e-mail to attend to. Later all!

It's UGLY!!! Eep!
Okay, so I'm gone for two days and the blog turns ugly. Wahhhhh...I liked the old one, but whatever. Currently my baby is out working so I must entertain myself for one hour while he works. Its about 9:30 p.m. here. Consider this: pretty much nobody here goes to bed before 11 p.m. during the summer. Seriously! I just came back from a festa. It was so damn boring. Like seriously, it was terrible. We got there around 2:30 because my dad said it'd be "fun," but usually he's on crack. Anyways, we were there and sitting around and we didn'd come home now until 9:15. Granted, there were four bulls and they fought for a little while, but nothing particualarly amazing happened. After each bull they took like a half hour intermission I guess to keep people there longer and they sold drinks and beefanas (beef, butter, and bread sandwiches) that they were out of after the third bull. It wasn's that fun let me tell you. So now I'm here, being obsessive girlfriend I am, waiting for Sky to be done working. Hehe. I am not quite tired yet, and hopefully my cousin won't come home too soon and kick me off. I don't have much to say. Their keyboards here are different and where the apostrophe is there is a degree sign instead so I keep making that mistake and reaching over there...it's crazy. Hehe. My dad says he is going to hook up the internet in my grandma's house so that I can have my own connection and not have to share Miguel's which is already weird enough. But seriously there is nothing to do here! This morning I woke up at nine after sleeping about 19 hours. I read a book for two hours and already knocked out about an eighth of the whole thing. If I keep going that way I won't have any more books to read. I gotta hook up to the internet though so I can download Skyler's podcasts. I've been using my iPod regularly here. It's nice to have something that is a little interesting. I only have about 350 songs, but it's better than carrying 50 cds. They actually don't have iPod's here. Everything here is MSN. It's nutty because Apple's are cooler. They're available here, but everyone knows Microsoft and likes that better I suppose. Pretty much everything is made for Microsoft anyway (probably because with Apple you get so much software pre-installed that you don't need to purchase extra software, DUH MICROSOFT!). But whatever, ya know. Okay well I'm going to wrap up here. I wish I had stumble here, that would make surfing and wasting time easier. Haha...I'll try and keep posting. See ya later peeps. *xoxo*

You ever have one of those weird sleeping days? The last two days have been like to for me. Thrusday night/Friday morning, I went to bed at 4am, then woke up around 10 on Friday morning. Then Friday night, i was out around 9pm, and now I'm up at 6:30am Saturday. 6:30! I'm never up this early. It feels really weird to be up doing things. But I do got lots of time, so I'm going to use it to the fullest!
You make it sound like a bad thing...
I didn't think that me going away was going to be so "good" to you. The way that post was writted I'd have thought that I take up a lot of time that you could use for better things. I hope not! If I do, I promise I don't mean to. Well, I'm in Pico, woo-freakin'-hoo. Email me or something...I'd love some entertainment here on this secluded island. I love you still, Sky! *xoxo*
p.s. It's actually 2:06 pm here! Oy!

I'm finding I have a lot of free time now that Monique is gone. I've looked at what my summer is going to be, and its really quite open. Good thing my family is going camping durning the first week of August, then I think I might head down to see my aunt and uncle in SLO. OKay, this is just a quick post. Maybe I'll be seeing a movie tonight.
